Company News: Susan G. Komen Volunteering

Susan G. Komen Volunteering | Quorum Review IRBKaren Pinga has been a Susan G. Komen volunteer for over 15 years. “Volunteering for Susan G. Komen is very rewarding and you get a lot of satisfaction knowing that you are helping women who have breast cancer.” As a survivor, Karen says the Race For the Cure was surreal—having volunteered for many years without having breast cancer is a lot different than when you are going through it yourself. But she particularly enjoys outreach events because she has a chance to talk to women about breast cancer and listen to their stories of survival.
