Quorum Executive IRB Chair, Dr. Stephen Rosenfeld, will participate in a dialogue on human research protections with members of the Secretary’s Advisory Committee on Human Research Protections (SACHRP). He will also deliver a presentation on data research, SACHRP recommendations, and changes to the Common Rule. This year’s AER conference takes place November 6-8 in San Antonio, TX.
About the Speaker
Stephen Rosenfeld, MD, MBA, is a Board Certified hematologist who earned his medical degree from Cornell. Dr. Rosenfeld also holds a Masters in Business Administration from Georgetown University. Over 19 years at the NIH, he held several research and leadership positions until moving to medical informatics and administration. In 2013, he was appointed to the Secretary’s Advisory Committee on Human Research Protections (SACHRP), and was subsequently appointed the Chair of SACHRP in 2016.
About the Conference
The 2017 Advancing Ethical Research Conference (AER17) will bring together more than 2,300 professionals from public and private institutions, the federal government, industry, and academia. The conference will include keynote addresses, panels, and breakout sessions designed to help build and strengthen effective human subjects protections programs that oversee research.
