Site Submission and Start-Up – Faster and Easier!

This fall, Quorum Review sent out a Customer Experience survey to all our Principal Investigators and Study Coordinators. There were lots of terrific comments, but nearly all the suggestions can be grouped into two main areas for improvement:

• Reduce paperwork
• Increase speed of site start-up

As a result, Quorum has generated two new service changes. In 2006, Quorum reduced some of the requirements for site submissions. In that time frame, Quorum eliminated the need to submit a 1572 form and a hard copy of U.S. medical licenses.

We’re proud to announce that as of Jan. 1, 2008 we’ve further reduced the site submission requirements. Quorum is now storing copies of PI CV’s and audit information. What this means for sites is that after Jan.1, 2008, PIs will only have to submit their audit and CV information ONE TIME. After that submission, subsequent submissions will need only include a COMPLETE copy of the SIQ. CV’s and audit information will be good for a two year period and Quorum will prompt Investigators when they need updated information.

Additionally, we’ve made some modifications to the online SIQ (the e-SIQ) which is housed within our secure portal. Sites can save a great deal of time by saving into the e-SIQ core pieces of information that do not change from study to study. If you do not have a portal account please contact our site support team with a request coming from either the listed PI or Study Coordinator (sitesupport@quorumreview.com). With all these changes site submission is easier that ever.

The other important item to sites (and sponsors as well) was study start-up time. Quorum has streamlined our site review service and we’re incredibly excited to announce market leading study start up timelines. For sites submissions that come in complete (needing no follow up) that qualify for our expedited review (no COI or audit concerns) our turn-around from submission receipt through posting approval documents and consent forms to the secure portal now boasts a timeline of one business day!

We believe that these 2 changes, one time CV and audit information submission as well as the one business day turn-around time, create a significant increase in value added service for our sites.
