QUORUM REVIEW EXPANDS ETHICAL REVIEW SERVICES INTO CANADA

Seattle, WA -- August 6, 2007 -- Quorum Review, an accredited independent ethics review board, has established a new "North American Board" to review research sites in Canada. The new Board will convene for the first time on August 15, 2007 and will meet every Wednesday to review pharmaceutical and medical device studies. "Quorum is proud to extend its commitment to human research subject protection into Canada," says Quorum's CEO Cami Gearhart.

The creation of the North American Board enables Quorum to offer a full range of services to researchers, sponsors and contract research organizations in Canada. This includes one-day review of investigators, on-line submissions and the electronic delivery of approval documents. Quorum's North American Board will apply both Canadian and United States requirements and can serve as both a duly convened research ethics board (REB) and a central institutional review board (IRB) for studies of all sizes.

With the addition of the North American Board Quorum now offers three (3) convened Board meetings per week. To submit a study for review, please contact customerrelations@quorumreview.com. For more information on Quorum and its services please visit www.quorumreview.com.
